It really was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be, and I'm glad to be rid of iTunes 11 (won't upgrade to that unless I absolutely have no choice, and only if they fix the bugs and restore the same functionality that the previous version has). The only inconvenience I found is that my desktop image had reverted to the default (no biggie) and Mail had to import all messages again (again, no biggie). Suddenly, your music collection is a richer experience everywhere, from Cover Flow in iTunes. The good news is that once I did this, iTunes 10.7 found about 35 songs that I didn't even know were missing from my library. The music on your Mac or PC has never been easier to organize. The app tries to complete your music library with metadata. You can use it on all of your devices, it does not matter if it is an iPad or a mac.
